In this role, the Provider Onboarding Specialist will partner with our VillageMD operations and clinical leadership team to provide a best-in-class onboarding experience for newly hired physicians and staff.

In support of our mission to enhance and improve healthcare outcomes, the Provider Onboarding Specialist will work in collaboration with internal leadership & our provider to facilitate a high-touch, white-glove experience on the ground in our Southeast (FL & GA) market.
You will be a change agent, championing a positive and thorough provider experience as well as spearheading process improvement activities around provider coordination & onboarding. You are the "face" of our Southeast market, executing on all onboarding initiatives from employment agreement through start date.
In our dynamic, hypergrowth environment, you will need to exude positivity, focus, problem-solving skills and resilience in order to exceed the expectations of internal and external provider. This role is critical to ensuring a uniquely VillageMD experience and a provider experience that is unparalleled in healthcare.
How you can make a difference
- You will be hands-on in the Southeast (FL & GA) Market as the provider point person, facilitating provider orientations and training sessions
- Evaluating the provider onboarding process and making recommendations for improvements
- Collaborating cross-functionally with our business development team to keep things running smoothly
- Observing, listening and understanding the needs of our providers
- Working with market team to identify and secure facilitators for each session of orientation
- Providing providers with guidance and interpretation of policies and programs
- Warmly greeting providers when they come into the office for interviews, showing them to their interview room, introducing them to their interviewer
- Responding appropriately to all provider inquiries while delivering a top-notch concierge service facilitated through multiple communication channels
- Advocating for providers' interests and perspectives by listening and identifying key issues
- Facilitating clear communication to ensure all provider views are represented
- Troubleshooting and problem solving collaboratively as well as independently

Experience to drive change
- Excellent ability to communicate with providers by focusing on both personal and professional interests as well as experience and relevant capabilities
- Ability to quickly gain credibility and establish the required relationships to influence and generate results
- Experience successfully onboarding providers in a patient and physician-centric manner to improve processes and outcomes
- An aptitude for using data and reports to educate and influence providers and leaders throughout the onboarding process
- Extreme flexibility and the desire to be key contributor to an energetic and passionate team of mission-driven humans
- Healthcare industry experience and/or a personal connection to the healthcare industry
- Tech savvy and possess a capability to quickly learn new applications
- Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) experience; preferably Greenhouse Onboarding
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- This is a hybrid position based in Atlanta
- 10-20% overnight travel may be required depending on Onboarding needs
