Job Title: RN Psych
Location: New York City, NY (USA)
Blended rate: $3500/Wk
Stipend: $2359/wk
Shift Pattern - Days 7a - 7:30p - 3x12's - 36hrs/wk
We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in psych nursing to join our team in Rochester, NY. The RN Psych will be responsible for providing quality psychiatric care to patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, administering medication, and monitoring patient progress.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing the mental health needs of patients and developing individualized care plans
- Administering medication as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring patient progress and modifying care plans as necessary
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
- Providing education to patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication management
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of New York
- Minimum 2 years of experience in psychiatric nursing
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
