The Public Relations Manager leads on all public relations, media relations and social media efforts for corporate health care system's service lines, physician network and regional affiliates. Works with director on development, implementation and evaluation of public relations and social media strategies for corporate health care system's service lines, physician network and regional affiliates. Works directly with CEO, vice presidents, directors and managers to develop public relations messages including responses during crises. First point of contact for media. Supports Andrews Institute public relations. Serves as first point of contact in absence of Andrews Marketing Manager for media relations.
The person in this position works under general supervision, is responsible for various shifts, may be subject to over 40 hours per week and/or callback as required, and may also be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters. Required to be on call and carry media phone to respond to media and coordinate messaging and responses with leadership for severe weather, disasters, mass casualty incidents and other critical situations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations or related field.
- Five (5) years of experience of related experience is required. Health care preferred.
- Accreditation in Public Relations preferred.
- Team player, highly organized, clear and concise communicator, strategic thinker, Detail oriented, strong ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment; ability to oversees multiple projects and follows through with details; understanding of and adherence to deadlines; and excellent writing skills. Ability to build relationships with internal and external partners.
