Public Works - Flagger/Laborer - Seasonal
Job description
Seasonal position that performs a variety of skilled maintenance and construction work servicing Weld County roads and bridges. Health insurance benefits available for seasonal positions. Opportunities to obtain Commercial Motor Vehicle License while employed.
Working Hours
Schedule is generally 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Monday - Friday (some schedules will be on a 4-day workweek, start times may differ) and may involve overtime which could include evenings, weekends and holidays.
$19.36 - $24.52 per hour plus benefits (see benefits tab on the job posting).

- Performs a variety of skilled maintenance and construction work servicing Weld County roads and bridges located throughout the county including towns, remote areas and school zones.
- Act as a flag person for construction activities on various Weld County roads during the summer work season.
- Assist in moving equipment. Manual labor duties may be required.
- Other duties as required.
Experience preferred in flagging and road construction activities.
Must have a valid Colorado Driver's License. Own transportation required to travel to 1111 "H" Street, Greeley, CO 80632.
Applicants offered positions must obtain a Colorado State Flagger Certification prior to being hired.
A post offer screen (physical ability/drug testing) is a requirement of being hired for the position.
Certified flaggers must be 18 years of age or older.
