Job description

We are looking for Puppy Assistants!

• Your primary focus is ensuring that the front and back of the house is meticulously clean and presentable for our puppies and our guests at all times. This is critical to the safety and success of our puppies, team members, and guests.

• Maintains the cleanliness of all puppy cribs throughout shift.

• May bathe puppies at the direction of the Kennel or General Manager.

• In addition to regular maintenance cleaning throughout the shift as needed, deep cleans the store, special care given at closing and opening times.

• Ensures laundry is continuously being tended to, washing, drying, folding and storing as appropriate.

• Responsible for utilizing the appropriate cleaning solutions and supplies, placing puppy safety front and center when using these products.

• May assist in tracking the inventory level of cleaning supplies, communicating needs to the General Manager or Assistant General Manager.

• Acts as a champion for all Barking Boutique initiatives, processes, and programs. You must have a team mindset the desire to uphold all standards of service, policies and procedures.

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma

Preferred Education and Experience:

• At least 2 years in an animal care setting'
