As the Purchasing and Planning Manager you will lead the teams responsible all purchases of product across all Warehouses and Branches to ensure highest levels of Customer Service and Revenue Generation. The scope of this complex role is ~$400M in buying responsibility and supporting a team of ~10 Enterprise Inventory Analysts.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Drive team's inventory quality performance including In-Stocks, Backorders, and Weeks of Supply.
• Leads management of system parameters and seasonal profiles across the Branch network and Warehouse(s)
• Ensures appropriate communication standards are delivered between Inventory Management and Sales Team/Branch Operations.
• Develops tools/processes to enhance performance visibility and action of key parameters: In Stock, Back Order WOS, Aged Inventory
• Partner with Branch Operations on large scale initiatives to enhance performance and customer experience.
• Maximized operational efficiency by leading approach to buy cycles and other forms of inventory movement across enterprise for maximum productivity

WHAT YOU BRING:

• 5-10 years of managerial experience required; inventory management preferred
• Leadership – Experience leading team(s) with complex/accountable roles
• Business Analysis – Required to identify/size/action to opportunities
• Excel (spreadsheet) Proficiency – Ability to manage large sets of data and manipulate into communicable tools/reports/actions
• Systems Utilization – Demonstrate proficiency in learning/leveraging tools designed to drive forecast and buying process
