Job Title:  QA Test Lead 
Duration:  12 Months 
Location:  Nashville, TN  (Hybrid 2-5 times per month onsite)

Job Description:
QA/Test Lead. This critical role will support a multi-year systems modernization program in terms of helping craft the testing strategy and approach for critical projects. 
They will facilitate planning sessions to document the approach and timing for relevant testing events and coach the business and project team in terms of creating test cases, scripts, test data, etc. During test execution, this role facilitates status meetings in terms of test progress relative to plan and defect prioritization and management.

Typical Day
Facilitate Test Strategy and Approach discussions. Monitor Test Prep activities and provide coaching and support as needed. Monitor Test Execution in terms of progress vs plan as well as Defect prioritization and management. Report out to stakeholders relative to project Test-related status. 
*Position will be remote hybrid, candidates must be local to Nashville to be onsite as needed (likely 2-5 times per month)

Education Requirements:  
Bachelor''s degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant field required or equivalent job experience. 
10+ years experience required in terms of SDLC (systems development life cycle) experience via relevant roles with minimum of 5 years experience relative to Quality Assurance/Testing.

Technical Skills
Required:  

•  5 years experience relative to Quality Assurance/Testing. 
•  2+ years exp with Defect Management 
•  Microsoft Office 365 – need to be able to utilize MS Office tools effectively to document processes, develop testing strategies, testing results and other report-outs, presentations, etc. (Teams, Sharepoint, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc.) 

Desired:  

•  HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) 
•  Azure DevOps 
•  (Highly desired)Project Management (Waterfall and Agile Methodologies)

Soft Skills

•  Effective communication skills – convey the right things at the right times to the right people using the right method of communication

Notes:
Need to have 10 yrs of SDLC experience, along with 5 yrs of Quality Assurance/Testing experience. Need to have Defect management experience. Need to have Bachelors in Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
