Quality Assurance Technician

Loos & Co., manufactures stainless and nickel alloy wire and cable products. We have long been the industry leader in the development of products for such critical applications as aerospace flight controls, elevators, resource hoists, earthquake bracing, rigging, scaffolding, automotive controls, and exercise equipment.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail oriented individual to join our Quality Assurance Team at an entry level with potential for growth.

Skills Required:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to perform under pressure to meet customer deadlines.
• Comfortable with independent analysis and decision making.
• The ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task.
• Superior accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft programs and computers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with IS900a/AS9100 manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with measuring tools.
• Experience with drawings, schematics, or blueprints.
• Experience with compliance in a regulated industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for sampling raw materials and finished goods, inspecting to established criteria, reporting, results, and determining pass/fail of material.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
