STAAR Energy Services and MFG. Is seeking a Quality Control Technician. The responsibilities for this roll is to support and train under the current Quality Control Manager until the candidate is fully trained. At this point the candidate move into the role of Quality Control Manager.

The qualified candidate will have 1-3 years experience in inspection of ASME Pressure Vessels and Piping. CWI and Non-Destructive Testing Experience required.

Responsibilities-

• Review A.S.M.E. Code Calculations and Drawings to ensure code compliance
• Read and review project specifications to determine proper procedures and requirements
• Maintain National Board and Serial Number records
• Implementation of all phases of project examination and inspection
• A.S.M.E. U-1A data reports and Partial Data reports
• Notification of the A.I. of approaching inspections
• Customer Inspection Notifications
• Hydro Testing inspection and record keeping
• A.S.M.E. Section IX welding records and inspections
• Non-conformance record keeping
• PWHT instructions, approval, and records
• Calibration records
• Revisions to the (QMS) Quality Management System
• Repairs and Alterations records and approval per the NBIC
• Conduct and report internal audits and evaluations
• Participate in routine visual inspections Qualifications:
• Previous work experience in quality control or other related fields
• Experience with the A.S.M.E Code of construction
• Experience with the National Board Inspection Code
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
