Overview of the Position

Evaluates incoming Uniform production from various manufactures, comparing to approved samples and specifications.

Inspect uniforms after production process to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products

Your responsibilities:

To include, but not limited to, the following functions:

• Measure and check construction of incoming product.
• Measure and record measurements in PLM or Excel.
• Track, receive and review counter samples from sewing plants, enter in PLM
• Review of all TOP (Top of Production Samples)
• Inspects uniforms to ensure quality and reliability of products.

• Records findings to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
• Press, Iron, fold, and package garments after conducting inbound audits.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• JR College or Vocational School preferred.
• Basic apparel manufacturing knowledge required.
• Computer knowledge required, Excel, Word, and production management systems.
• Must be able to read and interpret garment specification.
• Must be able to measure garments.
• Understand AQL (Acceptable Quality Levels).
• Must possess excellent communication skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds
• Constant close visual acuity.
• Auditory acuity to perceive the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction.
• Constant communication to exchange accurate information
