Job Responsibilities
  • Support management and leadership for the design, development, and implementation of
programs
  • Collaborate with account wide team and proactively share and reapply all learning, successes and
best practices
  • Responsible for ensuring that the work conducted by the Facilities team, and its subcontractors
is in full compliance with contractual requirements, client’s SOPs, and FDA cGMP regulations
  • Able to perform/support audits and prepare SOPs, and training materials for use by the
facilities team in the performance of their work
  • Follow established processes to ensure compliance with all established policies and procedures,
as well as contractual obligations
  • Identify and investigate deviations; escalate risks to internal and/or client resources when
necessary
  • Build successful relationships with client personnel to promote confidence, forward planning and
best practices
  • Expected to interface with the client’s quality personnel to ensure that all of the client’s
SOPs are followed, and the work performed by the team is documented and recorded in the
proper fashion
  • Sustain quality assurance support and help develop processes for a state-of-the-art
pharmaceutical manufacturing facility as it relates to the facilities maintenance of the plant.
Conduct investigations and drive accountability for all quality events
  • Provides direction/information to vendors, facilities staff, and service providers as required
to ensure that quality assurance expectations are communicated and followed
  • Provide guidance to new team members
  • Analyze possible solutions using standard procedures and implement process improvements
  • Coordinate the data collection of records and analysis necessary for reporting
  • Provide appropriate periodic reporting and management reports as required
  • Any and all other tasks/duties assigned
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2-year degree in science or technical discipline required
  • 2 - 3+ years of experience in a related occupation
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office Suite programs
  • Ability to investigate, recognize and diagnose trends and patterns
  • Experience working at an FDA regulated facility in a quality assurance or quality control
capacity
  • Understanding of FDA regulations, including 21 CFR part 210 and 211
  • Strong commitment to quality and a willingness to help develop a quality first culture on the
site
  • Knowledge of Quality Engineering techniques, CMMS systems, and Quality Management
Systems
  • Experience with writing deviations and performing investigations
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate with all levels
of management and willing to interface with a diverse customer base including technical and
non-technical personnel.
  • Ability to define, clarify and propose solutions that align with quality methodology
  • Natural desire to learn new things and independently pursue a stronger understanding of the topic
