Title: Software Quality Assurance Tester

Location: Austin, TX (Remote)

Duration: 06+Months

Description:

This position will work with the Educator Certification Online System (ECOS) development team to provide the following Software Testing Services:

1) Analyze user requirements, design documents and other documentation to develop detailed test cases

2) Create/Modify/Execute automated functional and regression test cases, report and document all issues, test cases ran, test results, and testing summaries in detail

4) Perform manual testing and data validation.

5) Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data

6) Work with development team and customers to clearly understand the functionality under test to define and implement test case automation and clearly communicate to the team.

The Educator Certification Online System (ECOS) supports and facilitates the certification of Texas educators.

Required Skills:

• 7 Years of Testing complex Web Applications
• 7 Years of Testing all phases of Software Development LIfe Cycle
• 5 Years of Automation Testing
• 3 Years of Database / SQL testing
• 2 Years of XML

Preferred Skills:

• 2 Years of Test automation experience using open source technologies and/or in-house frameworks
• 2 Years of Experience in API testing (SOAP and REST).
• 2 Years of experience with test frameworks like Junit, TestNG
• 2 Years of WAPT Pro or other performance testing tools
• 1 Year of Previous experience with TEA's Educator Certification Online System (ECOS)
• 1 Year of Previous experience with Zypher Scale preferred
• 1 Year of Previous experience with Jira preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $60.90 per hour
