OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION
Provide administrative and warehousing support to a department and/or Managers. Typical duties include general clerical, report analysis, and project based work. Responsibilities may be unique to a specific function or department such as Quality, Inventory, and/or Operations. Under general supervision, works within a specialized function to complete tasks in accordance to procedure. Some independence is expected with regard to methods used to achieve results.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Requires ability to perform numerical, statistical, and/or financial analysis.
- Maintain records related to document change orders, ensure they are up to date and adequately controlled.
- Interface with Operations and Quality control to ensure all document updates are correct and clear.
- Enforce departmental and companywide ISO, FTZ, and CTPAT requirements
- Applies common sense understanding to execute written or oral instructions.
- Required ability to communicate effective with internal and external clients.
- Must be proficient in Excel, Word & Power Point.
- Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.
EDUCATION AND WORK EPXIERIENCE REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Quality Control experience desired
- Strong proof-reading skills
- Good communication and people skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Blue Yonder experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math
- Able to operate a wide variety of business equipment
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task
- Prompt, reliable, and responsible
- Able to lift 40+ pounds
