ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):

• Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
• Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducts visual and measurement tests
• Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducts visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work
• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizes re-work and waste; inputs data into quality database
• Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complies with legal regulations
• Reads and interprets blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Manufacturing quality experience preferred
• Computer literacy in basic programs required (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and computer learnability)
• Ability to provide clear communication and feedback
• Ability to read, write and speak fluent English

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour
