POSITION OVERVIEW

Maintains quality standards by inspecting services rendered according to contractual obligations. Prepares, files and maintains documents related to product quality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Approves services confirming specifications and conducting visual inspections.

Prepares and files receiving inspection documentation.

Rejects unacceptable work and informs Project Manager or QC Manager of required rework actions.

Confirms rework actions.

Documents inspection results by written or electronic means.

Maintains working knowledge of industry, company and customer standards and requirements applicable to Business Services

Assists with the maintenance of Quality Control records and documents.

May assist with the performance of internal audits.

Receives direction from Quality Control Supervisor or Quality Manager. Relies on standard practices or procedures to complete tasks withnominal supervision.

Complies with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Reports unsafe conditions or activities to a building or site manager.

Effectively utilizes constructive interpersonal skills.

Regular attendance is mandatory with availability to work overtime as determined by management.

Performs other duties as meets the needs of Business Services

QUAIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED::
High School diploma or GED preferred.

Experience or knowledge of Quality Control Inspection

Exhibits behavior conducive to personal and professional development.

Proficient in basic arithmetic, written and verbal expression.

Ability to factor in variables and asset quality accurately.

Good written and verbal English communication skills. Ability to read and comprehend instructions such as procedure documents, drawings and specifications.

Ability to receive and carry out instructions provided in written, oral and diagram form.
