Quality Control Technician

Lollicup® USA, Inc., headquartered in Chino, CA, is the manufacturer of Karat® food disposable goods and TeaZone® beverage products, the distributor of other leading brands' coffee & tea ingredients, & specializes in in in custom print and innovative packaging. General Duties

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for the inspection of manufacturing products and/or processes to ensure product quality.

The Quality Control Technician will work with a variety of inspection and test equipment along with various methods, processes, and products to ensure that procedures and work instructions are being followed and documented to maintain product quality and records traceability.

Reporting directly to the QC Supervisor or QA Manager, the Quality Control Technician is also responsible to ensure adherence to good manufacturing processes; as well as safe quality food and product quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conducts necessary quality inspections using proper equipment and techniques in accordance with inspection plans.
• Maintains neat and accurate documentation of quality inspection activities.
• Conducts statistical analysis on selected processes and reports findings.
• Assists with problem-solving: Root cause analysis and formal corrective action.
• Ensures that incoming materials are in compliance with specifications before production release.
• Ensures that in-process inspections are carried out in accordance with procedures and work instructions.
• Ensures that the finished product meets company and customer specifications.
• Enters data into various software applications, as necessary
• Provides management with detailed quality reports as required.
• Responsible for monitoring critical control points (CCP).
• Recommends modifications to exist quality management system documents and/or standards to achieve optimum quality.
• Promotes continual improvement of quality control programs throughout the organization.
• Other duties as may be required and/or assigned by Quality Assurance Management.

• Above average math skills
• Ability to analyze data and draw valid conclusions
• Adaptable to a team environment with a positive attitude
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Familiarity with dimensional inspection gauges; e.g., micrometers, calipers, and etc.
• Ability to work systematically, logically, and effectively under pressure; in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Adaptable to learn process and product specific knowledge
• Self-motivated with leadership skills and an ability to work without supervision

Hours and Shift: We are searching for candidates interested in Day or Night shift: Rotating weekdays and weekends - 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM. OR 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM.

COMPENSATION:

Up to $19.00/hour DOE.Health/Dental/Vision available after passing three-month probation period. 401(k) available after the first year.
