Job Title: Quality Engineer

Location: Commerce, GA

Salary: $60,000-$105,000

Job Summary

The Quality Engineer is responsible for incoming inspections if raw materials used in the battery production process and supplier quality management. They will need to interact with wide range of stakeholders, including other departments and customers to solve urgent complex problems regarding end-products by identifying and evaluating alternatives.

  What you will do (Essential Duties):

• 
  Conduct a supplier quality/process audit
• Report the audit result
• Monitor and continuously improve the incoming SPC (Statistical Process Control)
• Review and suggest a revision (if needed) of incoming inspection standards
• Conduct inspection and cause analysis regarding the raw material quality non-conforming issues
• Plan the corrective action for non-conformity issue
• Control of nonconforming product (marks identifier label, demand right of indemnity, and request rework)
• Review and verify supplier-suggested solutions and corrective action plans for the raw material quality non-conforming issues
• Regularly check and monitor the inspection equipment and conduct a calibration based on the equipment management standards
• Place an order for the purchase of new inspection equipment
• Responsible for the re[air and maintenance of the inspection equipment
• Manage the operation/investment budgets regarding IQC/SQM

What we need from you (Requirements):

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical engineering or Chemistry, Material, Industrial, Electrical or Electronic engineering or equivalent
• At least 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with SPC, material PPAP preferred
• Certificate of VDA 6.3 process, IADA 16940
