Core responsibilities

Responsibilities:

· Oversee effective implementation of the Quality Management System

· Maintain the Quality Manuals and Quality Procedures

· Manage the plant’s internal audit and corrective action reporting systems

· Lead Quality System audits and assist in training/guidance to other auditors

· Maintain the Standard Operating Procedures

· Collect & analyze data to monitor Quality targets

· Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

· Promote the use of customer preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke, and Measurement System Analysis

The candidate

· Quality engineering experience in the automotive industry

· Adaptable with ability to use initiative and make quick, confident decisions

· Good problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills

· Working knowledge of quality systems and Lean Manufacturing

· Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning, Production Part Approval Process, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis

· Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9000

· Bachelor’s in Engineering

Salary: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
