Bradley Professional, a Professional Recruiting Firm, is seeking a Quality Engineer for their client, a producer of aluminum products and rolled aluminum coils, located in Huntingdon, TN.

This is a Direct Placement position and our client offers a attractive compensation and benefits package as well as relocation assistance if needed.

The Quality Engineer will organize internal and external audits (ISO 9001 and IATF 16949). Maintin current quality management systems. Maintain and create PPAPs for current and new material. Analyze data for process improvements. Develop plans and execute them to improve work flows. Support the manufacturing department by implementing improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.

Duties include:

  • Responsible to keep up to date the Quality System Documentation
  • Responsible to maintin the internal and external audits process up to date and organize audits with internal auditors. Review effectivity of current flow status as well as design new audits.
  • Responsible to oversee the established processes and report status on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Compares actual status of process against designed flows and identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop best practices, routines and checks to improve production quality and rates of output.
  • Strong analytical abilities to examine an organization's operating procedurs and make recommendations.
  • Communicate project objectives to team members and maintain close contact to coordinate activities with other groups within the departments.
  • Work with outside vendors and representatives as required.
  • Maintain effective communication with suppliers, internal and external customers and outside resources concerning related technical issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Science degree in field of engineering
  • 3 years of experience in industrial environmental working in process development, quality department, PPAP processing or engineering
  • Experience as an internal auditor preferable certified, desired IATF or ISO certification
  • SPC knowledge required, preferably 6 Sigma Green Belt certified. Black Belt desired.
  • Must be self motivated and be able to work flexible hours.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot issues and wolve problems independently (PDCA, 8D, 5Why, CAPA, Fishbone Diagram)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
