East/West Manufacturing Enterprises (EWME) is a fast growing, Round Rock-based, Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) Contract Manufacturing company.

The Quality Control (QC) Inspector is responsible for inspecting and verifying completed Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs) to ensure that customer specifications/requirements are met. The QC Inspector performs inspection of boards coming out of the reflow oven as well as final inspection of all SMT and Through-hole components. The ideal candidate will have significant experience and knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards.

Day shift (7am - 3:30pm) and evening shift (2pm - 10:30pm) available.

Can train to be IPC-A-610 certified.

Responsibilities

• Inspect boards according to the work instructions, IPC specifications, and customer specifications
• Perform visual inspection of post-reflow oven boards and components to ensure that products conform to requirements
• Perform final inspection of boards and components
• Operate Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machine
• Understand work instructions, inspection criteria documents, and manufacturing instructions
• Escalate quality issues as needed
• Maintain good housekeeping of equipment, workstations and any other areas used

Qualifications Experience in the printed circuit board assembly industry desired Have PCBA in-process and final inspection experience Have knowledge of IPC-A-610 Solderability Standards and J-STD-001 Workmanship Standards. IPC-A-610 certification a plus Ability to work independently, prioritize and manage tasks to meet deadlines and expectations with minimal supervision Confident, professional demeanor and ability to maintain composure in a busy environment
