Position Summary
The Quality Release Associate I supports the activities in the Quality department by helping maintain the internal quality system. The employee complies with company policies and procedures, and GMP, OSHA, Federal, State, and Local regulations.

Essential Functions

  • Review Production batch records and job packets for completeness and cGMP compliance, and initiate associated corrections
  • Understand and maintain a culture of “continuous improvement” within the department so that we continuously improve and are better than any organization. Actively work on improvement projects to ensure that continuous improvement is valued and acted upon.
  • Compile and report metrics on quality system(s). Routinely communicate data to ensure that continuous improvement(s) is visible and monitored.
  • Release in-process and finished products upon completion of batch record and job packet review
  • Label in-process and finished product containers with Quality approved stickers
  • Perform in-line manufacturing quality walkthroughs daily.
  • Facilitate Quality Management Systems as needed.
  • Support Quality department in internal audits as needed
  • Support Quality systems investigations as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • Associate’s degree or higher in related field (preferred), or equivalent experience
  • 0 - 2 years quality experience in similarly regulated industry
  • Previous GMP experience preferred

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is in an office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment, which may include lifting up to 25 pounds for extended periods of time throughout the day.
  • This position involves sitting for extended periods of time, however, may be exposed to manufacturing areas where moving mechanical parts and heavy machinery are located.

Work Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm (shifts may vary based on needs of the company)
  • Occasional overtime may be required
  • No travel required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour
