Description:

• Currently seeking a Quality Specialist with a strong background in auditing, IFS, and BRC
• Manages the document control program and verifies that documents are up to date in the QFSS SharePoint site.
• Trains team members on the document control process.
• Creating and updating food safety plans.
• Leads IFS, internal, and third-party audits.
• Conducts required food safety trainings according to plant schedules.
• Assist with new hire orientation programs.
• May assist with the quality tech functions by reviewing daily documents.
• Communicates discrepancies to the appropriate departments.
• Assist departments by communicating GFSI (IFS) standards.
• Assist with plant audits with internal and external groups.
• Assist with managing various teams SharePoint sites, PLM, BOM, supplier complaint, supplier compliance, KPI’s, management review.
• Other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.
• Food Defense Coordinator

Skills & Qualifications:

• College degree preferred, minimum requirement High School/GED Diploma
• 3+ years Quality Specialist experience
• Experience with BRC Audits
• Ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organization
