Serves as a direct liaison between customers, sales and all company departments ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders. Provides world class service to customers with resolving inquires or problems.
Key Responsibilities
This position is to maintain and ensure the quality system is implemented in the process to ensure that company products meet standards. Plan internal & external quality system and to audit.
This position includes hands – on quality assurance responsibilities including quality control inspections on incoming materials and coordination of appropriate documents.
· Oversees, manages, coordinates and prioritizes the daily activities of the Quality Assurance and Quality Control Department and assigned staff.
· Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
· Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a quality plan to bring the Company’s Quality Systems and Policies into compliance.
· Effectively interact with Production, Maintenance and Development teams to maintain product supply and help introduce new products.
· Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated.
· Establish clearly defined quality methods for staff to apply.
· Supervising technical staff in carrying out tests and checks.
· Writing technical and management system reports.
· Manage and maintain the Company’s quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and components, processes and finished goods.
· Formulate and manage the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems pertaining to the QA/QC.
· Setting QA compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved.
· Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff.
· Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures.
· Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
· Identifying relevant quality related training needs.
· Collating and analyzing performance data and charts against defined parameters.
· Promotes an environment that emphasizes safe work practices and teamwork.
· Assists in the development and maintenance of quality manuals, training materials, quality forms, and procedures.
· Ensures all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis.
· Assists in all training activities related to finished product and base sheet quality.
· Provides immediate feedback to Shift and Asset Leaders on audit results and adherence to quality standards.
· Work with Material Flow organization to notify of any material defect.
· Performs quality audits of raw material vendors to ensure materials are delivered to quality standards.
· Assists in annual audits of training documentation and procedures.
· Conducts annual refresher training to all personnel and individual training as needed.
· Reviews quality information with asset and shift leaders through monthly meetings.
· Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Background:
· Bachelor’s Degree in an applied science or engineering field.
· Demonstrate proficiency in reading/writing English.
· 5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
· Experience in quality management systems.
· Experience in quality system audits.
· Willingness to travel when required.

Skills and Knowledge:
· Good written and verbal communication skills.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
· Knowledge in statistical process control and statistical quality control would be an advantage.

Physical Demands / Expected hours of work:
· Read, write and communicate in the English language
· Must be flexible to work hours as required.
· Must be able to work 8 – 12 hours per shift.
· Must be able to sit, bend, stand and walk during scheduled shift.
· Perform month-end closing process on weekends and holidays when closing falls on either
· Readily accept new assignments as assigned by Supervisor
· Must be flexible and responsive to the needs of the department/ business.
· Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis
· May travel to multiple locations
