The community you’ll be caring for:

• Established in 1997 and now a 203-bed hospital
• AdventHealth Celebration Health was designed as a Mediterranean resort-style facility to serve as a cornerstone of health in Disney’s planned community of Celebration, Florida

The role you’ll contribute:

The Radiation Oncology Manager oversees the clinical, clerical, and financial, operations of a Florida Hospital Radiation Oncology Center. Manages internal operations; implements policies, procedures, and practices; ensures staff conformance to procedures and efficient functioning of the center. Responsible for the center’s patient volumes, marketing, regulatory compliance, facility maintenance, and equipment. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Provides regular, standardized volume and referral reports, as well as volume strategy updates to campus and Florida Hospital Cancer Institute (FHCI) leadership. Develops strategies to expand the Center’s referral base and retain existing business. Works with campus and FHCI marketing teams to promote the Center.
• Responsible for the efficient use of the Center’s operating budget. Manages daily expenses, ensures timely and accurate billing and collections, and provides monthly budget report to campus and FHCI. Develops annual operating and capital budget for the Center, in conjunction with the campus and FHCI, and implements corrective action plans, in conjunction with the campus and FHCI, to correct budget variances, as needed.
• Develops appropriate relationships with the Center’s referring physicians and their office staff.
• Monitors patient satisfaction with the Center. Develops and implements strategies to improve patient satisfaction, customer service (to patients and physicians), and addresses any patient/physician complaints or safety issues in a timely manner.
• Coordinates equipment and facilities maintenance. Ensures equipment is maintained; according, to required service schedules, and addresses any facility or equipment issues in a timely manner. Coordinates implementation of new technology and facilities.

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Five years’ experience as a licensed Radiation Therapist
• Three years’ experience in leading, supervising or managing operations of a radiation oncology center

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

• Current, valid State of Florida Radiation Therapy license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
