GENERAL SUMMARY:
Simulates treatment set-ups, performs dosimetric calculation, and accurately delivers ionizing radiation as prescribed by the radiation oncologist while working under general supervision of the System Manager, Radiation Oncology. Assists in patient care and management. Adheres to clinical, technical and operational policies and procedures.
Hours: Full Time 7:30-4:00pm No weekends/holiday
Locations: Edward Cancer Center 120 Spalding Drive Naperville, IL.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Education, Experience and/or Skills Required:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
- Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
- Education, Experience and/or Skills Preferred:
- Previous experience with Varian equipment
- Previous experience with ARIA EMR
- License/Certification Required:
- At a minimum, must be a candidate for ARRT (R) (American Registry of Radiological Technology) (Radiology Therapy) certification. Must successfully complete certification exam and be registered within one yearof start date into position.
- Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association
- IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure
