What would you do in this role?

Asa Radiologic Technologist, you wouldprovide information to diagnose patient illnesses, by operating radiologicequipment to produce radiographs. Priorto each exam, you would prepare patient for radiological procedure throughproper positioning and image technique, adjusting immobilization devices,moving equipment into specified position, and adjusting equipment controls toset exposure factors.

• You will maintain production and quality of radiographsby following established standards and procedures
• Document patient care services by charting inpatient and department records.
• You will review eachexam for technical accuracy and identifies anatomical orientation on allimages.
• Assist the radiologistin administering medications, contrast agents and all types of care to thepatient.
• Participate in emergencycall rotation to meet department needs.

Requirements:

• Associates Degree or equivalentMilitary Radiologic Technologist training.
• Current American Registry of RadiologicTechnology/ARRT and state license.
• Basic Life Support Certification.

• American Society of RadiologicTechnology preferred.
