Reporting to the Manager or Radiology the Radiographer will work closely with patients to produce images of tissue, organs, bones and vessels.
The Radiographer will be responsible for preparing imaging equipment, administering procedures, and ensuring patient safety. Strong communication skills and understanding of imaging procedures are especially important the Radiology Technologist as they will answer patient questions and explain procedures in layman terms. The Radiology Technologist will utilize their experience with magnetic resonance imaging MRI scanners to interoperate physician instructions and produce 3 dimensional images.
