Motivating Minds is a small Homeschooling and Tutoring Group in Key Biscayne, FL. We are professional, flexible, involved, agile and innovative.

We are looking for reliable certified tutors to work with students using the Orton- Gillingham approach for reading intervention. We have trained teachers that are open to learning themselves. Looking for someone who will work with assessing our students, and providing plans for our other Orton Gillingham tutors.
The Reading Specialist will be responsible for upholding academic integrity in the classroom, identifying emerging writers and supporting the learning of weaker writers. The ideal candidate will be an experienced educator with knowledge of writing pedagogy and an ability to teach the fundamentals of the English language to students.

Responsibilities:

• Use flexible methods to teach the curriculum.
• Be aware of parental concerns, be available for questions and support, write report cards, and administer grades
• Use classroom strategies to promote effective student learning.
• Motivate and inspire students.
• Attend staff and departmental meetings.
• Maintain a professional attitude at all times.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $65.00 per hour
