Overview

WS Development is looking for a Real Estate Contracts Administrator to add to our growing Construction team! The ideal candidate will be hyper-organized, deadline driven, proactive and will operate with a sense of urgency. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and will organize workload while managing expectations.

What to expect

The Real Estate Contracts Administrator will serve as the go-to-person and will provide administrative support and leadership to the Construction team. In this role you will manage a wide portfolio of responsibilities, balancing department documentation management, AIA contracts and change orders, calendar management, event/meeting coordination, expense reporting, and invoice management. Additionally, the Real Estate Contracts Administrator will own and manage limited travel coordination for construction leadership, Certificates of Insurance, and other deliverables. An ideal candidate is passionate about the industry and brings high standards to managing complex administrative projects.

Immediate Opportunity/Initial Success

The Real Estate Contracts Administrator will focus on building strong internal relationships within WS and will spend the first 6 months learning our business and how to become an effective member of the team. This will help the individual build long -term success, becoming a reliable partner to the Construction leadership team.

Potential for Growth/Longer Term Success

The Real Estate Contracts Administrator will be expected to solve problems proactively, anticipate needs and manage expectations. As the Construction team continues to grow, there will be opportunities to create efficiencies and process improvement to optimize operations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience providing complex administrative support, preferably in construction or related field
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and the ability to learn additional systems.
  • Baseline knowledge of contracts, change orders, and certificate of insurance is ideal but not required.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team and ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
  • A genuine interest in the industry and our projects
  • Ability to own projects and drive process to final execution
  • Strong organization skills and detail orientation
  • Ability to follow up and follow through effect
  • Exceptional communication skills both oral and written
