Job description

The position of Rebar Fabricator entails cutting and bending of reinforcement steel through use of manual and/or automated machinery. The associate must have knowledge of fundamental math and must be able to read and understand a tape measure. Reading bar lists, bar tags, operating and troubleshooting fabrication equipment are daily functions of the position. Preferred experience in using aSa rebar software, automated machinery and bending equipment. Daily usage of the following personal protective equipment is required SAFELY LOAD, UNLOAD CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS

OPERATE A TRUCK MOUNTED FORKLIFT SAFELY AND COMPETENTLY.

PROVIDE EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE.

HAVE GOOD VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS.

ASSIST IN WAREHOUSE AND SHIPPING, RECEIVING RESPONSIBILITIES AS ASSIGNED.

ASSIST IN THE CLEANLINESS OF ASSIGNED WORK ENVIRONMENT.

Preferred Skills

Prior customer interaction experience

Prior forklift and truck mounted forklift experience

Physical Demands:

Ability to work indoors and outdoors affected by daily weather conditions such as: heat, cold, rain, etc...

Ability to safely lift and manage an 80lb bag product.

Must have VALID DRIVERS LICENSE

Must be willing to submit to a drug test and a criminal background check.
