Overview:
As a Receiving Clerk, you will exercise judgement within defined procedures and practices to coordinate and unload incoming inventory at the distribution center. You will utilize warehouse management systems to validate the material list, purchase orders (PO) and part numbers in accordance with the packing slip and Bill of Lading (BOL). Additionally, this position involves the operation of machinery such as forklifts, turrets and pallet jacks to unload material from delivery vehicles in adherence with safety procedures.

Otter Products is currently hiring a Receiving Clerk , 1st Shift to join our Frederick, CO Distribution Center team!
Our 1st hours our Monday - Thursday from 4:45 AM - 3:30 PM (MT).

Responsibilities:
- Obtain Bill of Lading (BOL), reconcile BOL, and verify scheduled appointments
- Receive inbound vehicles using warehouse management systems
- Verify seal, break seal, and assign door number to truck driver and update C-TPAT log
- Unload materials from delivery transport and organize product per Purchase Order (PO) and SKU designation
- Verify correct number of pallets, sign paperwork-keeping a copy and returning the other to the driver
- Clean pallets for any material that is not required for the product and dispose of in the designated area
- Move finished pallets to the end of aisles for bulk storage
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
- Perform all tasks in a manner that promotes safety
- Ensure fellow team members follow safety practices and company policies
- Assist with running metrics and reports
- Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment
- Other duties as required
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- Minimum one year of work experience including Inbound or Receiving experience required
- Experience operating a forklift is required.
- Experience with M3, warehouse management system, is preferred
