Hourly Rate: $18.00 - 21.50
JOB SUMMARY: The primary purpose of your job position is to perform the overall reception, switchboard, and administrative activities in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as directed by the Reception Supervisor to assure that proper administrative procedures are maintained at all times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following; other duties may be assigned.
Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing of the office policies and procedures.
Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-department personnel, as well as other departments within the facility, to assure that administrative services and activities can be properly maintained to meet the needs of the facility.
Cash checks, makes deposits, order and sell stamps.
Assure that mail and packages are delivered to recipients in a timely manner. If recipient no longer resides at the Manor, ensure packages are forwarded to the appropriate address
Maintain a log of long distance phone calls and receipt of pharmacy prescriptions. Take reservations for Conference rooms and Guesthouses for meetings and overnight stays.
Interpret the facility's policies and procedures to personnel, residents, family members, visitors, etc., as directed by the Administrator.
Use equipment and materials in a safe and acceptable manner, follow established safety procedures, use appropriate safeguards, and observe common sense rules of safety in all on-the-job activities including the Injury and Illness Prevention Program.
Conduct self in a manner that reflects credit on Carmel Valley Manor and encourages others to do the same.
Provide Guest Registration forms to prospective residents that express interest in Carmel Valley Manor and submit to Marketing Admissions Department.
Assist with bi-weekly Accents Newsletter.
Maintain Residents? doctor?s appointment book.
When working night shift, make rounds throughout facility to make sure buildings are secure at night, and unlock all doors before the morning staff arrives.
