Are you looking for a change, or perhaps a new challenge? Our small firm with a national footprint is located in Waunakee and is seeking a full-time receptionist.   • Proficient computer skills; both G Suite (Docs, Sheets, and Drive) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills
  • 2-3 years prior experience working in a law firm preferred, but not required
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced/dynamic environment
  • Basic IT and social media/marketing knowledge preferred, but not required

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Answering and making telephone calls;
  • Assisting with client intake;
  • Greeting visitors at office location between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm during business days;
  • Typing and revising documents;
  • Managing calendars and deadlines;
  • Photocopying, scanning, and faxing;
  • Creating and maintaining hard copy and electronic client files, trial preparation materials, forms, and templates;
  • Drafting, reviewing, and editing correspondence, legal documents, reports, and presentations;
  • Managing and routing incoming correspondence; and
  • Communicating with attorneys and staff, clients, courts, and agencies.

Qualifications:

  • Great attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
  • Problem-solver with good judgment;
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing, editing and proofing skills;
  • Exceptionally responsive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands;
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to confidentiality;
  • Self-motivation, with the ability to take direction and work independently with minimal supervision;
  • Experience working in an office environment (at least two years);
  • Proficiency in G Suite and Microsoft Office applications; and
  • Eagerness to learn

Job type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00 + depending on experience

Benefits: 401k, HRA, mobile phone (device and service); 120 hours of PTO annually
