RECORDS MANAGER (OFFICE OF THE PUBLIC DEFENDER)
Job description
Under the direction of the General Counsel to the Public Defender, administers the Public Defender’s Records Management Program. Serves as the overall manager of closed files at the various department locations and warehouse. Responsible for the archiving, storage, maintenance, movement and appropriate destruction of closed files and records. Coordinates the production and return of requested records and files with other managers
throughout the office. Works closely with the FOIA/Subpoena Response Officer to produce requested files and records. Oversees the development and implementation of records digitization. Supervises the Lead Records Assistants and Records Clerks. Performs other duties as assigned.

- Graduation from accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Current certification as a Certified Records Analyst (CRA) or Certified Records Manager (CRM)is required.
- Five (5) years professional work experience in a records management department is required.
- Two (2) years of professional work experience as a supervisor or team lead is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Records Management or Business Administration.
