Planned Parenthood South Atlantic (PPSAT) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN licensed in NC) to work in our recovery room at our Health Center located in Chapel Hill, NC. The PPSAT Recovery Room Nurse provides essential care to patients before and after surgical procedures. The Recovery Room Nurse works closely with the Physician and assists them during surgical procedures. They support and enhance the clinical and operational activities within the scope of their knowledge, experience, and training. The Recovery Room Nurse fosters an environment of support beginning with patient intake to patient discharge.
Health Center closing hours vary depending on patient flow and recovery needs. Hours listed do not reflect the health center hours but are reflective of the actual clinical hours.
- RN license in the state where assigned (NC, SC, VA, and/or WV); LPN license acceptable in VA only.
- Experience in GYN preferred.
- Experience in abortion services preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
