RECREATION PROGRAMMER

This position is part of the Parks and Recreation team and is responsible for performing a variety of duties using a high degree of independent judgement providing planning, coordination, and implementation of various recreation programs, activities and events for all ages; and working with other City departments as needed. Required to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
Qualified applicants must have a valid Ohio Driver’s license, Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in recreation, physical education, or related field, or considerable experience in recreation, related field or public facing environment. Desired skills include developing, planning, organizing and implementing a variety of recreation programs and ability to identify community needs and recommend appropriate programs.
