Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Plans and conducts therapeutic procedures and programs to maintain and/or restore patient's physical, psychological, intellectual and social capabilities. Evaluates and assesses patient needs relative to gross motor coordination, group behavior, interpersonal relationships and proficiency in various recreation and leisure activities. Coordinates and leads functional community reintegration sessions and aquatic therapy programs.

Qualifications
Experience
Completion of accredited therapeutic recreation clinical internship required.
One to three years related experience (preferred)
Education
BS in Therapeutic Recreation Therapy or relevant field
Licensure
Board Certified Music Therapist (CT BCMT) and/or Registered Art Therapist (CT ATR), (Basic Life Support (CT CPRBLS)
