As a staffing and recruitment specialist for DCC Propane, you would actively recruit and screen qualified individuals for open positions, formulate and implement targeted recruiting plans, schedule and oversee candidate interviews and screening, and collaborate with HR personnel to formulate effective staffing strategies in order to achieve job req fulfillment. The priority for this position will be to seek out candidates for the open CDL Driver and Customer Service Representative roles throughout the field. Our ideal candidate has both a tenacious approach to learning and growing, in addition to strong communication and organizational skills.

This will be a hybrid position with the opportunity to work from home but also a necessity to travel to the corporate office on a weekly basis.

Recruiter Duties and Responsibilities

• Recruit qualified individuals to fill vacant positions at our retail Propane locations that will include CDL Propane Drivers and Customer Service Representatives.
• Assist department managers in screening candidates for the corporate office.
• Establish, develop and maintain friendly relations with organizations and training centers from which applicants may be recruited.
• Collaborate with HR personnel and executive stakeholders to determine an ideal hiring and staffing strategy.
• Push postings out to social media and other sites.
• Review resumes, screen candidates and facilitate interviews with the local hiring managers.
• Follow up with hiring managers to ensure we are tracking and progressing candidates as appropriate.

Contract Recruiter Requirements and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Min of 5 years of customer service experience
• CIR and AIRS certifications (beneficial but not required)
• Strong computer proficiency
• Existing relationships with professional organizations and recruiting sources
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
