Job Summary:


The School of Dental Medicine (SDM) is looking for a Recruitment & Admissions Coordinator to serve the SDM Advanced Standing International Student Program (ISP) through student recruitment and admissions. This full-time, University Staff (unclassified) position that reports to the Manager of Admissions & Student Engagement for the ISP program. The Recruitment & Admissions Coordinator position is a key position within the school’s admissions, student life and inclusion team.

This position collaborates with unit, division, department and school staff; this position will also work closely with external campus partners that include the Office of Student Financial Aid, Bursar’s Office, Registrar and other programs across the Anschutz Medical Campus.

Key Responsibilities:

All Levels:

  • Coordinate and participate in strategic recruitment activities
  • Counsel and advise prospective students by providing detailed information in response to inquiries and requests regarding the dental educational programs, the admissions process, and the status of individual applications.
  • Assist with the organization and execution of the on-site and virtual interview and selection process for ISP applicants.
  • Serve as an information source to faculty, staff, students, and the general public.
  • Organize and coordinate various student programs and services that support student engagement and wellness (i.e., stress management workshops, health fairs)
  • Provide resources and support for students seeking help with mental health issue, in collaboration with SDM and university partners.

Intermediate Level:

  • Develop and evaluate strategic recruitment initiatives; analyze and evaluate current recruitment initiatives and communicate recommendations to department leadership.
  • Design and organize student on-site and/or virtual interview process
  • Manage and update dental application resources and tools (i.e., application materials, recruitment materials, online recruitment webpages)
  • Identify and communicate strategic student engagement and wellness programs and services enhancements to department leadership.

Qualifications:


Minimum Qualifications:

Entry-Level

  • A bachelor’s degree in in Human Resources, Business, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, Communications or related field from an accredited college or university.

Intermediate-Level

  • A bachelor’s degree in in Human Resources, Business, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, Communications or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • One (1) year of experience with student recruitment and admissions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years of experience with student recruitment and admissions.
  • Experience working in an academic medical environment.
  • Experience working with student recruitment and admissions data effectively analyzing as well as identifying gaps and/or recommendations for change.
  • Experience with student recruitment and admissions business applications and technologies (i.e., WebAdmit, SIS, CRM)

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.

Anticipated Pay Range:


The starting annual salary range for this position has been established as:

  • Entry-Level: $33,994 – $43,240
  • Intermediate: $36,993 – $47,055

The above hiring range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation depending on the level.
