Recruitment Associate
Job Overview: The Recruitment Associate is a member of the HR/Talent team. The associate supports the hiring goals by filling open positions with talented, diverse and qualified candidates and is responsible for the full life cycle of the recruiting process.
Reports To: The recruitment associate will report to the Senior Talent Manager
Responsibilities and Duties
Aid in providing a positive candidate experience, ensuring each candidate receives timely communication- Ensure our candidate experience is reflective of Mundo Verde’s culture and values from start to finish
- Prepare and post job posting online
- Build creative attraction and targeted sourcing strategies
- Attract, screen and assess a diverse candidate pool to fill open roles across the school
- Performing recruitment duties such as scheduling interviews, updating the calendar accordingly, making phone calls, updating the candidate summary, and monitoring emails.
- Score oneway videos and attend scheduled interviews in coordination with the Talent Team.
- Greet and assist interviewees on campus visits and demo lessons.
- Partner with the Talent team to organize and attend recruiting events
- Screening candidates and verifying their qualifications, experience and reference check.
- Following up with candidates during the recruitment process, like shortlisting callbacks or rejection emails.
- Resolving issues such as interview cancellations and withdrawing swiftly.
- Assisting new hires with the onboarding process, campus tour, checking Zenefits (HR platform) information, onboarding packet, collecting bios and headshots and coordinating orientation agendas.
- Assist Talent team with New Hires Newsletters, recruiting presentations and videos for recruitment and onboarding process in both languages
- Support with the interview rubrics, job descriptions and postings for all positions in both languages.
- Support the Talent team updating and maintaining the recruitment platforms, TalentEd and Spark Hire
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field
- 1-2 years professional experience in recruitment or HR
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be bilingual (English and Spanish).
- Experience in an urban school setting is preferred.

Other Job Details
- Schedule: 8 hour day starting at 8:00 am
- Location: Network position meaning will serve at both campuses.
- This position does not have any direct reports
- Position Type: This is a 12-month salaried position which is exempt and therefore not eligible for overtime pay under the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act
- Employment subject to TB test, fingerprinting and background check
