In this role you will support our Talent Acquisition (TA) team by leveraging data to help enhance our recruitment processes and strategies so that we can attract talent internally and externally to support the growth of our Optum businesses. Through data analysis, the Recruitment Data and Operations Analyst will help improve Optum’s recruiting operations and help us achieve our aggressive hiring goals. In this role, you will partner closely with our Talent Acquisition team members to understand our Optum businesses and support data requests aligned to our strategic talent priorities. This Analyst will provide fulfilment support for complex data requests and share insights from data with Optum TA senior leadership in a clear and concise manner.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct data analysis to enable Optum Talent Acquisition more efficiently and effectively attract talent
- Fulfill high volume and complex recruiting data requests
- Present data and insights to Optum TA leaders
- Ensure projects are executed and delivered on-time
- Flex to support key priorities as needed

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of experience managing projects, collecting and analyzing data, improving processes, and managing change
- Comfortable managing deadlines
- Able to tell a story using data
- Able to multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working in a highly matrixed environment
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a large team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proven experience working independently
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition
- Knowledge of UHG/Optum sourcing and recruitment processes
- Proficiency in DOMO, SharePoint and MS Teams
- Proficiency in Talent Source and Taleo
- Proven communication (written and oral) skills
- Demonstrated CLL skills: Being accountable, managing ambiguity and uncertainty, communicating with others, providing support, collaborating, serving customers, building relationships, and understanding the enterprise
