Appalachian Underwriters, Inc is seeking a Refunds Analyst to join our team at our Oak Ridge, TN headquarters. This role will be responsible for issuing refunds to either the agent, carrier, or customer upon endorsement or cancellation processing.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Review policy specific financial details to determine Commission and/or Refund status due to Agents.

· Process payment to Agents in accordance with Department and Company Refunds practices and policy requirements in a timely and accurate manner.

· Review policies to determine adherence to policy documentation and Accounting for accuracy

· Create, update, and maintain detail specific reporting required for Agency Billed compliance

· Assist in additional finance company review, returns and compliance to contractual terms.

Knowledge/Skills:

· Prior accounts payable experience.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office

· Strong Excel skills with experience in entering information, copy, paste, moving columns, sorting and summation is required.

· Data Entry

· 10-Key

Education:

· High school diploma or GED required.

· Associates degree preferred.

Compensation:

· $16 - $18 per hour.
