Regional Hospital Director | Multiple Western Locations

We are looking for a Hospital Director to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for the financial and cultural health of multiple hospitals. Each Director manages 10-15 locations from Colorado and west of Colorado. Each Director works closely with hospital leadership to support the success and well-being of the hospital and the hospital team. Because of the need for close proximity, a candidate must live no further east than Colorado to be considered.

As a Director with Suveto Veterinary Health you will create, maintain, and own relationships; encourage personal and professional development; and build financially strong, culturally rich environments within the Suveto Veterinary Health hospitals.

Leadership of the hospital teams

• Aids the Practice Manager and Medical Director in the development of staff in areas of personal and professional skills

• Uses conflict resolution skills and exceptional communication tools

• Works with the Practice Manager and Medical Director to evaluate performance and set/reach goals for continued growth

• Assists the recruiting team in finding qualified DVM and support staff candidates and helps hospital leadership with the interviewing and hiring processes

• Meets with Hospital Leadership weekly to review financials, assess progress towards goals and discuss the needs of the hospital

• Attends regular meetings with the doctors, staff, and the leadership team at the Hospital level

• With the aid of the Practice Manager, analyzes current processes and creates new processes based on hospital needs

• Teaches the Leadership team how to read and respond to financial reports

• Helps the Leadership teams create financial goals and how to meet them

• Assists the Leadership team in communicating the financial goals and vision to the staff and creates acceptance

• Initiates projects to expand the development of staff and financial growth of the Hospital

• Anticipates and proactively prepares for issues and makes thoughtful recommendations

Requirements

• Operations Director or similar position in multiple veterinary hospitals and/or Practice Management experience

• Bachelor's Degree is preferred

• Practice management software experience

• Knowledge of common financial software and metric reporting methods
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
• Work remotely with possible evening and weekend responsibilities
• Close proximity to the managed group of hospitals.
• Travel 25-50% maximum, including overnight stays
