The Field Engagement Team works with clients to drive top line sales by maximizing customer loyalty utilizing insights and proven practices to implement strategies that enhance the client’s associate and customer experience with Bread Financial products. The Regional Engagement Manager is accountable for the execution of field engagement tactics that support the assigned client’s strategic plan, in order to deliver results in acquisition and credit sales. As an individual contributor, the Regional Engagement Manager partners with internal leadership and cross functional partners to deliver client facing strategies that are aligned to the goals of Bread Financial and assigned clients.

Essential Job Functions
Drive Results – Executing in-store and virtual engagements that drive incremental new accounts/sales based on Field Team strategy and curriculum. Accountable for achieving assigned performance metrics, including applications, tender share, activation, and other KPIs based upon the engagement opportunity assigned. Shapes front line associate behaviors and operating cultures through business insights, reporting, and key measures built to identify opportunities for growth.
Relationship Management - Cultivates, manages and develops relationships with Brand partners within home or assigned market (typically mid-level leaders) to achieve mutual goals. Ability to present with confidence, prescribed information to clients. Consult and inform leader and matrix partners of field discoveries (SME). Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication to present information to clients. Navigates difficult conversations with integrity and agility.
Budget Management – Effectively manages to financial budgets including travel and other expenses.
Risk Management - Serves as the first line of defense for company by providing ethical and risk adverse guidance to customer facing associates, compliant training, and other tactics.
Develop Talent – Responsible for personal development and contributes to the overall development and growth of the department. Participates in additional projects to enhance leadership skill set and demonstrate core values. Enterprise wide contribution through a variety of practices including but not limited to: effective and direct feedback, internal relationships, community involvement, brg’s, networking groups, etc.

Working Conditions: General office environment or Work From Home. Up to 75% travel required, including air travel. Weekly Market travel with brand partners

Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s degree, some college, or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business, Finance or related field
Three or more years experience working on a goal-driven team in retail, banking, fintech or similar industry.
Preferred Experience
Bachelor' Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business, Retail, Communications

Five or more years in a sales driven culture with individual budget and expense responsibilities, giving presentations to high-level audiences.
Experience on a remote/virtual team.
Leadership experience.

Typical Starting Range:
$77,900.00 - $141,200.00
Full Salary Range for position:
California:$89,600.00 - $176,600.00
Colorado:$77,900.00 - $148,300.00
New York:$85,700.00 - $176,600.00
Washington:$81,800.00 - $162,400.00
The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.
Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financial’s 401(k) plan.
All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safety Time per calendar year at the beginning of each year and is prorated in the associate’s first year of employment.
Hired associates will be able to elect to purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December. You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
