Summary of Essential Duties:
- Complete Contours Initial New Hire Flight Attendant training and maintain Flight Attendant qualifications by successfully completing yearly recurrent ground training (RGT).
- Instruct, support, coach, analyze and evaluate Flight Attendant training performance throughout company designated events.
- Conduct occasional check-rides on current/qualified Flight Attendants.
- Maintain, demonstrate, and support operational safety, reliability, integrity, consistency, and adherence to corporate values and Safety Management System processes.
- Work closely with the Inflight and Flight Operations Leadership to support the defined operating strategy for the Inflight Department.
- Represent the Inflight Department when called upon to meet with business partners and/or regulatory agencies, e.g., FAA, TSA, etc.
- Provide technical input on Flight Attendant manuals, processes, and procedures when called upon.
- Performs special projects and other duties assigned or required by the Corporate Leadership team.
- Maintain a high degree of confidentially in all matters.
- The supervisor will be removed from routine operations unless the Companys needs of service require the supervisor to cover open assignments.
- Responsible to operate between all primary Contour operations airports (currently FLL, PBI & OPF)
- The supervisor may be required to travel to and perform duties in other crew domiciles or field stations.
- Provide coaching and counseling to Flight Attendants and administer corrective/disciplinary action, up to and including terminating a persons employment when needed.
- Other duties as assigned by lead
- Must be 23 years of age or older.
- Two (2) or more years Flight Attendant experience in 14 CFR Part 121 and/or 135 operations preferred.
- Willing and able to relocate to the South Florida area (this is not a commutable position outside of the local area).
- Must possess comprehensive understanding of the Flight Attendant role, responsibilities, and daily duties.
- Possess and maintain a valid US passport or foreign passport.
- Must have a valid drivers license and good driving record.
- Be authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the United States.
- Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Available to travel as required.
- Must be capable of maintaining a high degree of confidentiality in all matters.
- Must possess excellent coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to motivate others.
- Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
- Must have experience and be highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Excel, Word, Outlook, and related software.
- Able to pass a required 10-year work history review and submit to criminal history records check.
- Must understand, read, and write English.
