Regional Manager Job Description
As a Regional Manager, you will contribute to the company’s success by leading and managing daily operations of locations within your region to achieve business goals and maximize profitability. As a Regional Manager, your duties also include guiding management staff, setting performance objectives, evaluating, and optimizing operational and sales performance, and ensuring company policies and procedures are upheld. Candidate must possess exemplary planning, organization and communication skills and act as a positive role model.
Regional Manager Specific Job Duties
- Develop and lead location management team to achieve business goals and revenue targets. Serve as a resource by providing expertise on customer issues, staffing, location operations and company policies and procedures.
- Work with leadership team to oversee daily operations, fleet management, budgets, and setting performance objectives for all car and truck rental operations within region. Locations include Madison (3) and Appleton (3).
- Work with location management and HR team on recruitment efforts. Strong commitment to the development of all team members.
- Work with location management and Sales and Development team to set and meet incremental revenue sales goals and objectives.
- Monitor and control all payroll and operating expenses within region to meet established budgets.
- Regularly analyze and forecast business and market trends for changes impacting MWI or our competitors. Communicate and take urgent action when necessary.

Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of proven management experience. This experience must include previous management of multiple locations and directing and developing management personnel.
- Exceptional leadership skills. Proven ability to train, motivate, influence and coach others.
- Analytical thinking with the ability to make strategic short and long-term decisions
- Commitment to support and follow corporate culture, policies and procedures
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills to communicate with staff, peers and senior management.
- Ability to adapt to change and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, delegation and time management skills. Ability to meet deadlines, hold teams accountable and follow up on all activities within district.
- Ability to forecast and analyze business and market trends.
- Solid computer skills including knowledge of MS Office (Work and Excel) including data query skills
- Live within a 45-mile radius of Madison office.
- Ability to travel by car each week to Appleton and/or other Midwestern Wheels locations.
- Willingness to occasionally travel overnight for business.

- Must have a valid state driver’s license and no more than 2 moving violations in the current 12-month period
- No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years
