Salary: £32,960 + 10% Annual Management Bonus
(If additional days worked on the weekend, there will be an hourly rate x 1.5, only if 5 days have already been worked in that week)

• Please note: The successful applicant will be covering and responsible for three location sites which include: Peterborough, Gatwick and Hatfield. A van will be provided by DHL + Fuel card + Expense account

Role Purpose:

• The Performance Coach will be responsible to deliver the Home Delivery Training programme to new employees, existing employees and agency workers when required for the
  next contract, and oversee the School of excellence at Armthorpe.

Responsibilities:

• Main areas of training responsibility up to 4 outbases
• Directly report to the National Training Manager.
• Delivering training programmes set by the Training Manager to the general work force.
• Advising management about issues relating to employees training needs.
• Working from the Training Matrix to ensure that the employees training needs are completed. Updating and monitoring
• Ensuring that all training sign offs are completed and scanned and stored in an electronic training file.
• To Update DHL training with driving assessment, developments, training files, etc.
• To monitor Tachometer and update/report any accuracy's to management
• Compile Training reports for contract information
• To update and maintain the Training Matrix for Armthorpe and as instructed by the Training Manager
• Completing training hour's reports on a weekly basis and sending them to the Training Manager/ finance/management.
• Carry out at daily safety conversations, and update portal with Site trainers safety conversations
• Provide relevant training documentation to carry out training activities to site trainers.

Requirements:

• Broad knowledge and experience on home deliveries process (essential)
• Above average communication skills (essential)
• Excellent organisational skills (essential)
• Understanding of tachomaster useful but not essential as training will be given
• Good understanding of using spreadsheets/data bases
• Class I HGV driver (essential)
• DDA, Smiths instructor (training can be given if needed)
• Understanding of the Health and safety portal would be advantageous but not essential as training can be given
