Registered Behavior TechnicianRutland City Public Schools is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to create, support and implement students behavior plans under the supervision of a board-certified behavior analyst. The Technician provides applied behavior analysis interventions that encourage socially acceptable replacement behaviors allowing students to build and improve upon their communication, social interaction, and problem-solving skills.Responsibilities include:Providing direct student instruction and support in one-on-one and group settingsFollowing the behavior reduction and behavioral skill acquisition protocolsCollecting and recording data based on student behaviorCommunicating with students, parents, and team members regarding student progressProviding guidance and suggestions to team members for appropriate interventions based on student behaviorAssisting behavior analysts and assistant behavior analysts with behavior reduction assessmentsPlanning lessons and preparing materials designed for students skill acquisition Credentials:Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician from the Behavior Analyst Certification BoardBachelors Degree in a related fieldExcellent written, verbal, and time management skills, as well as the ability to develop and maintain relationships with students and their families, supervisors, peers, and team membersPlease apply directly online to: www.schoolspring.comEOE/AA
