Job Description
The Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment areas, greeting patients, selecting instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the dental practice act.

Responsibilities include:

• Greet patients with a smile; prepare patient for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patient.
• Assist Dentist with all procedures; positioning instruments for Dentist's access; suctioning; passing instruments.
• Sterilize instruments and clean treatment rooms
• Prepare treatment rooms
• Record medical history for each patient
• Comfortably perform X-rays
• Chart existing and recommended treatments in dental software.
• Maintain dental supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies
• Occasionally assist with front office, answering phones and scheduling
• Assist with office marketing strategy as needed
• Perform other duties as required to support the office

Requirements
The qualified candidate for the Registered Dental Assistant position should possess:

• Registered Dental Assistant - Tennessee
• At least one year of dental assisting or recent externship
• Familiarity with dental software
• Reliable and Dependable
• Must Pass Background Check
• Well Groomed and Professional

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
