Job description

• Observes, assess, and reports patient conditions/changes and documents in accordance with clinical policies and procedures and state/federal guidelines and regulations.
• Assist in the collection and documentation of data relevant to patient assessment and evaluation.
• Consults with DON/ADON regarding changes in patient's condition.
• Receives, transcribes, and executes physician's orders in a timely manner.
• Ensures implementation of care plans as directed. Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Participates in assigning duties and ensures the delivery of appropriate clinical by CNA staff.
• Ensures that each patient's accident or incident is fully documented and reported in accordance with clinical policies and procedures and state/federal guidelines and regulations.
• Ability to function as a team player
• Must collect all specimens requested by Physician or NP in a timely manner.
• Identifies and secures equipment and supplies.
• Assist in the evaluation of subordinate staff and the occasional discipline/counsel of subordinate staff.
• Ensure a safe environment.
• Ensure that each patient's attending physician and family or responsible party is notified of any significant change in the Patients health condition.
• Performs all other duties assigned by supervisor.
